If you’re strong rider, then kudos to you and if you’re the weaker rider then so be it. KKeep the band together but once complete report true performance data. Or I’m missing something?

I have been flagged on Strava (rightfully so!) and don’t like getting jerseys, PRs, etc. while on a banded meetup. Hoping Zwift can implement your ideas. Thanks as always for your good work.

I stopped to pick up my water bottle and got dropped by the group. When I rejoined and started pedalling my avatar took off like a rocket 😂😂😂

When i do the same segment climb unbanded, I’ve much better solo performance.

However, to be fair, I’ve gotten some better-than-possible PRs myself in a fast group. I had to work to stay with them, but they also pulled me and in retrospect i likely slowed them down.

It seems therefore that a fair-banded “performance” ride for all is to match yourself with like-capable riders. On the other hand, a casual “social” ride is not about performance but about the banding and bonding.🌝

Gotcha, (not that that makes me feel better about doing it….LOL)
